 Internationally educated and experienced, founder Raymond Wu brought his professional engineering skills, masters level education, and astute business acumen to the formation of Wu & Associates, Inc. in 1990. The company's first home was located in the town of Essington, just outside of Philadelphia. Gaining initial licensure in Pennsylvania, Mr. Wu built the foundation of Wu & Associates, Inc. upon the successful bidding of general contracting opportunities in the public sector. In the third year, Mr. Wu secured the company's first multi-million dollar contract as well as 8(a) certification in the U.S. Small Business Administration's Business Development Program. After a decade of aggressive growth into the neighboring markets of New Jersey, New York, Delaware, and Maryland, Mr. Wu expanded the company's management team in 2001 to include his son, Kirby Wu. Uniquely equipped with a background in architecture and business, Kirby added new dimension to the management of the company to ensure its continued growth and success. Today, Wu & Associates, Inc. is housed in New Jersey's premier town of Cherry Hill. With Mr. Wu as a guiding light, Kirby now leads the daily operations with the same spirit his father possessed 18 years ago when he first embarked on realizing the American entrepreneurial dream. |
